The reformer is a beautifully engineered piece of equipment that uses springs for resistance and support. It helps you build deep core strength, improve posture, increase flexibility, and move with more awareness.
It is low impact but powerful. Precise but fluid.
At JOY, we use the reformer not just to sculpt the body, but to reconnect you to it.

We believe JOY is not something you chase. It is something you uncover. Movement is the doorway. Our classes are rooted in knowledge of alignment, breath, and body mechanics, while also being lighthearted and fun.

Your instructor will introduce you to the reformer, explain the springs and settings, and guide you step by step through class. You will feel cared for and supported from the moment you walk in.

Wear comfortable active wear that you can move in. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. We have them available for purchase if you forget.

We provide all reformers and studio equipment. Wear comfortable workout clothes.

Classes are intentionally small so instructors can provide personalized guidance and support. Max class size is 10 people.

Consistency creates change.
For most people, 2-3 classes per week builds noticeable strength and stability. Even once a week is meaningful.
You’ll notice the benefits of pilates when you practice regularly.

Pilates supports core stability and joint alignment, which can be helpful for many people.
If you have an injury or medical condition, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider first. Please let your instructor know before class so we can offer appropriate modifications.

Many clients continue Pilates during pregnancy with modifications. Please consult your healthcare provider and inform your instructor before class so we may support you appropriately.

Flexibility is not a requirement. Pilates builds balanced strength and mobility together and over time, you’ll notice more flexibility in your body.
Class Booking & Logistics:

Book your classes on our website using our Walla platform. Because reformer classes are intentionally small, we recommend reserving in advance.

For safety reasons, late entry is not permitted once class has begun. The reformer requires guided setup, and we want your experience to feel calm and supported from the start.

Join the waitlist. Spots often open and you will be automatically added if one becomes available.

Please cancel at least 12 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation.
If you cancel within 12 hours of class, the class credit will be lost.
If you cancel within 30 minutes of class or do not attend, a $15 fee will be charged in addition to the lost class credit.Workshops and special events may have separate cancellation policies.

We do not require membership contracts. You may pause or cancel anytime by contacting us in writing at least 7 days before your next renewal date.
Memberships can be frozen for any reason and for any length of time. A one-time administrative fee applies when starting, restarting, or unpausing a membership. Pricing may change with advance notice.

Membership classes expire at the end of each billing cycle. Class packs expire according to their package terms.

Classes and memberships are non-transferable.

Memberships automatically renew every 28 days starting on the date of your first class. By purchasing a membership, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
